Trauma Support Services by Blue Paw

Paul and Paws

Blue Paw brings over 25 years of trauma experience from the Blue Light Emergency services. Police officers, both serving and retired, who have faced Major Incidents, including Rail Crashes and more recently, Terrorist Incidents, share moving real-life personal presentations about how trauma has impacted their lives. They discuss their experiences with PTSD and the journey they took to overcome their mental health challenges. Blue Paw offers emotional wellbeing services that can enhance your Company's and Organisation's wellbeing by participating in conferences, meetings, and team-building events. We provide a wide variety of mental health support and trauma recovery workshops, recognizing that stressful or traumatic events can arise in any setting.

Meet Maple

Maple has recently joined the Blue Paw team. A Red Labrador Retriever, Maple is currently undergoing comprehensive, full-time training with Holly to develop the specialized skills required to support mental health and emotional wellbeing. Her training focuses on providing calm, reassuring companionship and assisting individuals in managing stress, anxiety, and emotional regulation, which are crucial components of emotional wellbeing services. Maple is progressing exceptionally well and is expected to be available for Mental Health Support visits, including participation in trauma recovery workshops, from 2026.
